Michelle's Before & After

My lovely girlfriend Tu-Anh sent her friend Michelle to me about 4-5 months ago. She's new to the area--moved down to DC from NY. When I first met Michelle I thought aw what a cute girl. She's tiny just like Tu-Anh! She was very laid back--down to earth--very easy to talk to--and pretty much open to anything. She wanted to do red but nothing too crazy because of her job so I did highlights and then put a red brown all over. It looked so good on her! After about 4 months all the red pretty much faded out and it just looked like brown with highlights.

She came into my work yesterday with a general idea of what she wanted. She wanted a short bob but choppy and still wanted to do red. Her hair is fine and doesnt have too much of it so going shorter will definitely look fuller. So first I did some chunky highlights and colored everything else back to her natural color--dark brown. After we shampooed it out I added a red to the blonde chunks and put her under the dryer for about 10-15 minutes and then rinsed it out. The haircut was done with a razor and I gave her a choppy bob with the back a bit shorter than the front and her bangs shorter.

She loves it--I love it--we're all happy :) I love this look on her. It looks amazing and gives her a style and an edgier look. She doesn't even have to blow-dry it so she can wear it messy. No more hair ties! :)
