TAKO: A quick update

Sorry for being so MIA lately. My last post was about a month ago o.O and this year I want to try to update my blog as much as possible but I don't know if that'll even happen. There's a lot of stuff going on right now with my work situation and I'll go into details later in about a month but basically I've been working everyday 12hrs a day! So I had zero time to even go online and check my blog. Starting today I don't have to go in to work as often for about 4 weeks--so after 4 weeks my life will be so hectic again. There's a lot of stuff I want to talk about so I'm going to try to do everything in one post today.

I received my Holiday VoxBox from Influenster a little over a month ago and I was pretty happy with this one.

I've been carrying around the mentos gum in my purse and it definitely freshens up my breath after eating Korean food cuz you know there's a lot of garlic, onions and red peppers in our food. I've also been using the NYC lipgloss and I love that it's sheer in color and smells great. Been using the Softsoap Coconut Bar soap and love the smell cuz it's not overpowering but bar soap does tend to make my skin dry in the winter so I have to lather on mad lotion afterwards. I tried on the imPress nails and loved the print!!! Who doesn't love animal print? But it is a little on the thick side--not too thick but I prefer my natural nails. I ended up peeling it off after taking a pic because I know it wouldnt last on me since I wash my hands constantly at work. The Larabar was delicious and I will probably go out and buy a box with the coupon they gave us in the box. It's a great thing to carry around for you to snack on. The face mask I have yet to try but I've been so busy that the last thing I want to do is put on a mask after work--all I want to do is wash up and go to bed.

If you remember I had a post about getting Julep Maven Box for a Penny and of course I had to sign up and get one for myself. It was really only for a penny!!

I received the American Girl Box and it came with the colors Leighton and Demi, a hand scrub, a sample of blue glitter (I guess for nails?) and 2 sample packets of hand cream and hand brightener. I like how the nail polish is in a small rectangle bottle instead of the traditional round bottle. This way it's easier to organize and easier to carry around. I have yet to try these also but I will soon.

I won a giveaway on twitter not too long ago that Hollyanneree was having with Bh Cosmetics so I received the 120 Color Palette Eyeshadow. I just received it not too long ago--I think a week ago.
